EMBALMING

We will take every precaution to make sure that the deceased is embalmed to the very high standards of the British Institute of Embalmers, but we are sorry to say that not all countries will embalm the deceased and will only issue an certificate of "sanitisation" , such certificates are issued to meet local rules and are accepted even where it is known that qualified embalmers are not available. If we fail to accept this then it would may well result in the refusal of the deceased being repatriated home. Whether the deceased has been embalmed or not, we cannot guarantee the deceased will be viewable on return to their native land. We would suggest that you consult your local funeral director, who would advise you accordingly.
